Job description

ABCorp’s history dates back to 1795, more than 225 years. We started out as secure printers - designing & producing better, more counterfeit-resistant currency for the First Bank of the United States. Our products & services have changed, but secure envelops everything we do. Today, we design, manufacture, and personalize contactless credit cards, 3D print highly detailed prototypes & parts, and use digital content to elevate the customer experience in a secure envelope. These are just a few of the things we do.JOB SUMMARY:

This role is a hands-on position responsible for setting up, programming and operating our 3D printers.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Clean/Setup and insert product into equipment. Remove product from equipment.
  • Continuously inspect produced parts for conformance to specifications. Identify and separate defective products.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot quickly and make decisions on the fly to keep the shift running.
  • Report problems with equipment or product to department supervisor or manager.
  • Achieve or exceed levels of production that have been established for equipment type.
  • Read and follow job instructions on work tickets for each job.
  • Ensure production quality standards are met
  • Communicate technical or maintenance needs for repairs and modifications to equipment
  • Report production information to supervisor as requested.
  • Comply with use of safety equipment and procedures at all times.
  • Maintain neat and clean work area at all times.
  • Conduct training of new employees as needed
  • Keep inventory levels of manufacturing supplies and advise on ordering
  • Delegating other tasks to crew as necessary
  • Responsible for tracking site progress documentation including daily reports, photo documentation, safety reports
  • Other duties as business needs arise

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Abilities to read and write to the level necessary to understand work tickets, policies and procedures.
  • Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead the activities of others.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand up to 8 hours.
  • Effective communication.
  • Understanding of 3D Magics Software
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office
