Description

Central States Bus Sales is currently seeking a Full-Time Service Technician for our Oswego, IL location. This position performs mechanical work on a wide variety of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, heavy duty gasoline vehicles, pickups, cars, light duty equipment, and related systems. 


Job Responsibilities:

This position's primary purpose is to perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles, along with diagnosing/troubleshooting systems related to the vehicle, installing vehicle added options and miscellaneous repair.


Job Skills/Requirements:

Ability to perform mechanical work on mid-range diesel-powered vehicles, heavy-duty gasoline vehicles, pickups, cars, light duty equipment, and related systems

2+ years formal work experience performing basic automotive maintenance.

Knowledge of procedures and techniques used in the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of equipment and vehicles

Ability to operate pallet jack and pallet lift

Skill in operating motorized equipment and various hand, pneumatic and power tools

Commercial Driver's License Class B with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements within 3 months of hire. Company will provide some training and assistance to help obtain CDL.

ASE Certifications, a plus

Cummins ISB/ISC Certification, a plus

MVI License, a plus
