POSITION OVERVIEW
The Culinary Arts Instructor at Shepherds College will be responsible for the development of the Culinary Arts training program, its curriculum and training schedule. This individual will also serve as the primary instructor for this specialty major.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop the Culinary Arts occupational training program in its entirety, including the curriculum and instructional schedule
  • Serve as the primary instructor for Culinary Arts, utilizing effective training methods
  • Assess students' knowledge, understanding, and skill acquisition on a regular basis
  • Establish Culinary Arts students' internship opportunities, and oversee placement and evaluation
  • Annually review the overall program and its effectiveness, making necessary changes to enhance its overall effectiveness
