Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Culinary/Dietary Aide - PRN to join our team! The Dietary Aide / Server serves meals and snacks to residents and their guests, performs some cleaning routines for the Dietary Department, and helps to create a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience in our Communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Help create a restaurant-style dining experience through serving meals, customer service, and collaboration.
  • Follow written and oral instructions, follow diet orders/tray cards and work assignments.
  • Ensuring that meal orders are delivered accurately, and any special request or dietary restrictions are noted and followed.
  • Perform defined work routines.
  • Assist with cleaning routines after meals have ended and setting up for next meal.
  • Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies as directed by Culinary Director
  • Attend scheduled department meetings.
  • Attend educational programs.
  • Follow defined safety codes while performing duties.
  • Follow Infection Control procedures.
  • Understand community's fire and disaster plans; follow established procedures during drills and actual emergencies.
  • Be knowledgeable of federal, state, and community's rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Qualifications

Qualifications :

The Dietary Aide / Server preferred high school graduate or have an equivalent education (GED) but not required. Serv Safe certification is encouraged but not required.
