Days/Work Hours: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm
Job Summary
This role is responsible for processing and assisting with the necessary tasks to receive and ship product in all Carhartt distribution locations.

Representative Responsibilities
  • Perform activities related to the shipping and receiving of product to the distribution facility (such as updating PINC system, working with Freight and Receiving supervisors, relabeling freight, etc); escalate issues to appropriate leaders and cross-functional teams (such as ASN, CTPAT, carrier/driver issues, etc) and follow through with updates and information
  • Monitor daily reports and communicate with Planning to determine what is ready and available to ship.
  • Create shipments in WMI and prepare all necessary paperwork including BOLs and load sheets.
  • Ensure receiving calendar is updated, and collaborate with Ops Receiving Supervisor on managing docks, what loads to unload, and to move/locate trailers in and out of proper docks, and update the yard management system with any incoming or outgoing trailers.
  • Communicate with the Outbound Planning, Transportation, and Logistics teams to ensure that the order is processed, and invoice shipments when appropriate.
  • Handle all incoming/outgoing driver's paperwork, reconcile any shipping manifest/receipts of incoming/outgoing shipments, and receive goods systematically in SAP.
  • Update STO log, conduct and support CTPAT program and audits, support delivery and sortation of UPS/FedEx deliveries, print labels/barcodes for pallets, and other tasks that support distribution operations
  • Other Distribution Ops duties as assigned

Required Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 1 year of experience working in a distribution center, manufacturing or production environment
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Warehouse Management System and ERP experience.
  • Knowledge of CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) preferred.
  • Ability to positively interact with other associates.
  • Ability to adjust to doing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent conflict resolutions skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
