Job description

We are looking for an Assistant Project Superintendent to work on large-scale, complex vertical building projects. Candidates should be leaders, team players, organized, and able to work with different teams within a fast-paced construction environment. We are looking for candidates willing to expand their roles with the goal of developing into Lead Project Superintendents. The Assistant Superintendent will assist the Project Team with the various field duties including:

  • Responsible for oversight of all of field operations on a project
  • Responsible for coordinating, directing and supervising the work and efforts of subcontractors and direct labor on the project
  • Ensure that the requirements of the project are met with respect to safety, schedule, quality control and cost control
  • Develop and maintain the site logistics plan
  • Develop, update, and maintain the overall project schedule
  • Conduct weekly foremans and safety meetings
  • Attend weekly owners meetings

Minimum Requirements

Ideal candidates should possess a Mass. Unrestricted Supervisors License, an Associates degree (or higher) in Construction Management (preferred, but not required) and 2 to 5 years of construction industry experience. Exceptional leadership and communication skills are a must.
