  • Government Affairs (GAPC): Leverage deep expertise and relationships across all levels of government to shape policy, advance legislation, and ensure diverse representation.
  • Strategic Communications (Comms): Craft and amplify narratives with tailored messaging and outreach across press, digital, and social platforms to maximize reach and impact.

What We Seek:
We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our team. In this role, you'll provide essential support to our practice areas, assist with meaningful projects, and gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals. If you're passionate about public policy, advocacy, and creating social impact, this is the place for you.

The Intern Role:
  • Assist with research projects, data analysis, and report preparation for each practice area.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, note taking, and organizing documents.
  • Contribute to the development of client deliverables, such as presentations, memos, and briefs.
  • Conduct background research on policy issues, legislative developments, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate project logistics, ensuring the timely completion of tasks.
  • Support internal company initiatives, client events, and special projects as assigned.

Requirements
What We Require:
  • Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program, or a graduate within the past 12 months, preferably in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, Sociology, Organizational Psychology or a related field
  • Strong interests in public policy, advocacy, and social justice issues
  • Excellent research, written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn

Schedule:
This is a temporary position with a flexible schedule. Interns must be able to work at least 20 hours per week, with the majority of those hours worked during normal business hours. The internship duration will be approximately 14 weeks with the possibility of an extension based on performance and business needs. All hired interns must be physically present in a local Raben office at least twice per week.
