CSOD Implementation/Migration Consultant
This opportunity supports a large-scale Learning Management System (LMS) migration from SumTotal to Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) for one of the state's largest agencies. The project is currently underway, and the client is seeking experienced Cornerstone professionals who can quickly contribute with minimal onboarding.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing, configuring, administering, or supporting Cornerstone OnDemand Learning, with experience assisting enterprise LMS migrations, system configuration, data validation, testing, and learning administration. Candidates with experience leading or advising on CSOD implementations are especially encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
  • Support the migration from SumTotal LMS to Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD).
  • Configure and maintain Dynamic Groups, Curricula, Learning Assignment Tool (LAT), learning objects, and user assignments.
  • Advise stakeholders on configuration best practices and learning structure design.
  • Configure and maintain user security roles, permissions, and organizational structures.
  • Partner with technical teams to validate migration requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful data conversion.
  • Validate migrated training records, courses, transcripts, and learning content.
  • Assist with system testing, defect resolution, and production readiness activities.
  • Develop or support Reporting 2.0 reports and dashboards as needed.
  • Provide functional expertise and recommendations to improve Cornerstone Learning processes and configuration.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and system integrators throughout the implementation.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience administering, implementing, or configuring Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD).
  • Experience supporting LMS implementations or migrations.
  • Strong knowledge of the Cornerstone Learning module.
  • Experience configuring Dynamic Groups, Curricula, Learning Assignments, learning objects, and user administration.
  • Experience with user security roles, permissions, and system configuration.
  • Experience supporting data validation, troubleshooting, and testing activities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced implementation environment with minimal onboarding.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SumTotal LMS and/or SumTotal to Cornerstone migrations.
  • Experience serving as a CSOD Super Administrator, Solution Architect, or Implementation Lead.
  • Experience with Cornerstone Reporting 2.0, dashboards, and reporting analytics.
  • Experience working with enterprise or government LMS implementations.
  • Experience collaborating with systems integrators and cross-functional implementation teams.
