PIER 290 Restaurant in Williams Bay, WI is hiring a Kitchen Expeditor to join our fast-paced culinary team! As a Kitchen Expeditor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that dishes are prepared, plated, and delivered to guests accurately and efficiently. You’ll work closely with chefs, servers, and the rest of the kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations and exceptional service.

PIER 290 serves up the Lake Life as the only waterfront restaurant on Lake Geneva! Guests enjoy beautiful lake views in our dining room, front deck, or covered canopies. Our extensive menu features casual American fare for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Along with dining options, guests can also sit with their toes in the sand and a drink in their hand on our lakefront sandy beach or around our fire pits throughout the summer. PIER 290 is a year-round spot for weekly specials, lakeside dining, live music, and fun! Lake Life Begins With Gage.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of dishes from the kitchen to guests
  • Coordinate with chefs and servers to maintain smooth communication and workflow
  • Inspect dishes for quality, presentation, and completeness before they leave the kitchen
  • Assist with organizing and prioritizing orders during busy service periods
  • Support kitchen staff with prep work, cleaning, and other tasks as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized expediting station
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Some prior kitchen or restaurant experience preferred; willing to train motivated candidates
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs as needed
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support the kitchen team

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-time and part-time positions are available. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
