Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Recruiter to support high-volume talent acquisition efforts for a dynamic operational environment. The Recruiter will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract, assess, and hire qualified candidates while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. This role requires a proactive recruiting professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can effectively manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for a variety of positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and establish recruitment requirements.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines through colleges, job boards, social media, employee referrals, agencies, and other sourcing channels.
  • Screen and evaluate applicants by reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, assessing qualifications, and verifying references.
  • Manage the hourly employee applicant intake process and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.
  • Collect, analyze, and report recruitment metrics to identify trends and improve recruiting effectiveness.
  • Support workforce planning initiatives and assist in forecasting future staffing needs.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and ad hoc recruiting reports.
  • Ensure all recruiting and hiring practices comply with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action, and applicable federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Promote and support the company's employer brand across all recruitment activities.
  • Participate in job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives as needed.
  • Perform additional human resources and recruiting-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
Experience
  • 2 to 4 years of recruiting experience or experience in a human resources-related role.
  • Experience recruiting in a high-volume environment preferred, including industries such as:
    • Transportation
    • Hospitality
    • Manufacturing
    • Food Service
    • Logistics or Operations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of recruiting best practices and candidate sourcing strategies.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
