Description
The Paint Booth Operator is responsible for all beams and processes associated with repaints to include, but not limited to sanding, prepping, and painting. This person will be accountable for the safety, quality, and efficiency of the Paint Booth operations. Will also help in any other area of the plant as needed.
Shift:
Days | Monday - Thursday | 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Duties and responsibilities
  • Painting re-paint product from Pultrusion department
  • Responsible for properly recording chemical usage
  • Responsible for painting product according to Geotek standards of quality
  • During slow times in paint booth area, or during drying time of painted material, this person will work in Pultrusion/Secondary/Packaging/Shipping areas as required
  • Responsible for Paint Booth area process improvement and efficiency
  • Will support Inventory and EPA emissions reporting by timely reporting all chemical usages

  • Mechanically inclined and able to read a tape measure
  • Able to work and lead with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and problem solving skills are essential

Compensation:
GEOTEK's compensation model is skill-based, and starting pay levels are determined by previous experience and transferable skills. The range for this position breaks down as follows:
Level 1: $21.25
Level 2: $21.25 - $23.50
Level 3: $23.50 - $25.00
Level 4: $25.00 - $26.50
Physical Work Conditions
  • The position is located on the production floor, standing for up to 12 hours a day
  • Work with or around power tools, loud equipment, and chemicals
  • Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
