Polisher Buffer Jobs (NOW HIRING)

You'll start by polishing and finishing metal components while gaining valuable cross-training in fabrication, welding support, assembly, and production processes. If you're motivated, reliable, and eager to develop your skills, we want to hear from you.

As a Metal Finisher, you will play a critical role in ensuring parts meet quality and appearance standards by:

• Smoothing and polishing metal surfaces using hand grinders and finishing tools.
• Preparing metal components for final production and painting.
• Cross-training in a variety of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Measuring and cutting metal to specifications using tape measures and basic math skills.
• Operating manufacturing equipment, including brake presses and spot welders.
• Supporting assembly, packaging, painting, and other production departments as needed.
• Inspecting work for quality and consistency.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Mechanical aptitude gained through work experience, technical training, school programs, or hands-on hobbies.
• Experience grinding, finishing, or working with sheet metal.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Coursework or hands-on experience in welding, automotive technology, woodworking, machining, or related trades.
• Desire to learn multiple manufacturing processes and grow within the organization.

This role is based in a large manufacturing facility where teamwork, quality, and self-motivation are highly valued. Please note that the facility is not temperature-controlled and can become warm during summer months. The campus is smoke-free and home to a hardworking, supportive team.

This is a Permanent position based out of Champlin, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $22.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
