We want a Senior Product Manager toquickly understand the current ecosystem of products atRate andenhance capabilities that can result in creating loyallong termengaging customers via Rate App engagement.

This role willbe responsible forresearching,definingand owning detailedproductrequirements,roadmap priorities,partner integrations, new featureinitiativesandoverseeexecution for some of the highest-impact initiativeswithin the consumer app.

The ideal candidate combinesfintechexpertise, withvery strongproduct owner management skills in buildingconsumer-facingmobile apps. This person has experience in building membership, loyalty features,and a passion for solving complex challenges. Experience withUX design, Web technologies, APIs, and most important Mobile Native/Hybrid technologies / integrations isstrongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Agile Product Delivery

  • Own the Backlog: Drive agile product development ceremonies by writing high-quality user stories, defining precise acceptance criteria, and managing the JIRA backlog.
  • Developer Collaboration: Work embedded with engineering squads to unblock development, triage technical debt, and ensureaccurateimplementation of web and mobile tech stacks.
  • Sprint Execution: Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to predictably ship high-impact features in a fast-paced environment.

ConsumerMobile App,UX

  • Enhance UX: Partner closely with Product Designers to create intuitive, delightful, and habit-forming mobile experiences that make complex financial concepts accessible to everyday users.
  • Mobile App lifecycle: Own the release, publishing, managing launch of mobile app releases to the various App stores.
  • Mobile Tech Stack: Understand the nuances of Web, Hybrid and Native technologies and best fit technology for various use cases and partner integrations.
  • OKR:Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and OKRs, using deep data analytics and user experimentation to prove ROI on new features.

Partner Integrations, Landscape

  • Good understanding of various players within the industry that focus on membership, loyalty platforms, creditcardwhite label platforms.
  • Experience withsolutioningfeatures using 3rdparty partner integrations, white label solutions,customizationsand configurations.
  • OKR:Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and OKRs, using deep data analytics and user experimentation to prove ROI on new features.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in fintech, consumer mobile products.Preferred if youhave workedlong term on a consumer facing mobile app.
  • Goodunderstanding ofloyalty, membership,consumer engagement,and cross selling when it comes to consumer apps forfinancialand wellness industry.
  • Demonstrated experience defining product roadmaps and writing detailed business and functional requirements.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive organizational change.
  • Solid experience in working with Jira, User Stories, Kanban to own product releases, sprints.
  • Experience in mobile apptechnologies, attribution, analytical, experimental tools:Android, IOS, Mobile A/B testing tools, Firebase, Amplitude,Iterableand similartoolsetc.
