Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary, high-velocity VP of Business Development to architect and execute our global growth strategy. This is not a traditional business development role; it is a high-impact, strategic position designed for a future Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

In this role, you will own the revenue-generation engine across three critical pillars: scaling a worldโ€‘class affiliate ecosystem, forging high-value strategic partnerships, and leading our playbook for international country expansion. You will directly impact the companyโ€™s top and bottom lines, working closely with executive leadership to transition our market footprint from regional success to global dominance.

Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
  • Identify, negotiate, and close complex, high-impact commercial partnerships with enterprise players, ecosystems, and platforms to unlock new revenue streams.

  • Build a repeatable partnership framework and lifecycle management process to ensure longโ€‘term, mutually beneficial relationship health and maximum monetization.

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to integrate partner technologies that enhance our core value proposition.

2. Affiliate Program Excellence
  • Design and scale a high-performing global affiliate and referral network, optimizing commission structures, tracking, and attribution models.

  • Recruit top-tier global affiliates, networks, and media publishers to drive sustainable, lowโ€‘CAC user acquisition.

  • Leverage data analytics to continuously optimize affiliate performance, fraud prevention, and ROI.

3. Global Country Expansion
  • Own the international expansion playbook, conducting rigorous market analysis, regulatory assessments, and localized competitive mapping.

  • Establish localized strategic relationships to fast-track market penetration and brand credibility.

4. Revenue Leadership & CRO Trajectory
  • Align BD activities directly with enterprise revenue goals, taking ownership of P&L targets for partnerships and new markets.

  • Build, mentor, and scale a world-class, data-driven Business Development and Partnership team.

  • Implement rigorous sales ops, CRM hygiene, and forecasting models to provide predictable pipeline visibility to the executive board.

Who You Are & What You Bring
  • Experience: 8โ€“12+ years of progressive experience in Business Development, Partnerships, or Sales Leadership, preferably within a fast-growing B2B/B2C SaaS, Fintech, or Marketplace environment.

  • Expansion Track Record: Proven experience successfully launching products or services into new international markets, navigating localized nuances.

  • Affiliate Mastery: Deep understanding of affiliate marketing platforms, performance marketing dynamics, and managing multi-million dollar affiliate networks.

  • The "CRO Mindset": You don't just look at "deals signed"โ€”you look at revenue realized. You are highly analytical, metrics-driven, and possess strong financial acumen (P&L management, LTV/CAC ratios, cohort analysis).

  • Dealmaking Polish: Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of closing 7-figure, complex enterprise deals.

  • Leadership: Experience hiring, managing, and inspiring distributed, international teams.

Why This Role is Unique (The CRO Path)

This position is explicitly structured for a leader aiming for the C-suite. As you successfully demonstrate the ability to tie partnerships, affiliates, and expansion into a cohesive, high-growth revenue engine, you will be given direct visibility and mentorship to transition into the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) role, taking over holistic ownership of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
