As a Senior CRO Manager, you'll lead full-funnel testing and optimization initiatives focused on performance across Rocket's digital properties, including emerging AI Search capabilities. You'll partner closely with SEO managers, content growth teams, product teams, and engineering to design and execute sophisticated A/B and multivariate tests that drive measurable impact on the complete user journey. Your deep expertise in experimentation methodology, technical acumen, and AI automation will shape how we test user experience enhancements, content strategies, and product changes across both traditional and AI-powered search channels. You'll mentor junior team members and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership, driving innovation in how we approach testing and optimization.

About the role

  • Lead full-funnel experimentation and optimization across all traffic channels, running experiments through the complete customer journey for Rocket Mortgage storefronts and partner properties including Redfin

  • Design and execute A/B, multivariate, and time-based tests focused on conversion impact, including content variations, user experience enhancements, and technical optimizations that influence both traditional and AI Search performance

  • Collaborate with SEO managers, content growth teams, product teams, and engineering to identify high-impact testing opportunities and translate cross-functional insights into actionable experiments

  • Build and design experiments using web performance platforms such as Amplitude and Optimizely, with hands-on technical aptitude and ability to work in implementation details

  • Measure and analyze the impact of optimization changes over time, accounting for market noise and external factors that may influence performance across search and direct channels

  • Possess deep knowledge of experimentation methodology and determine the most appropriate testing approach based on unique circumstances and constraints of each context

  • Mentor junior team members on testing best practices, CRO fundamentals, and advanced experimentation techniques, including the use of AI tools to enhance experiment design and administration

About you

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in conversion rate optimization (CRO), performance marketing, or related digital optimization roles

  • Demonstrated expertise with web performance and testing platforms such as Optimizely, Amplitude, or similar tools

  • Proven track record of running A/B and multivariate tests with strong understanding of experimentation methodology and statistical measures

  • Advanced proficiency with web analytics tools and the ability to work with large, complex datasets

  • Power user of AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, technology, data science, or a related field

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing full-funnel user journeys from initial traffic through conversion

  • Hands-on experience building and designing experiments from the ground up

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including SEO, content, product, and engineering

  • Familiarity with AI Search, including Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) or Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies and best practices

  • Knowledge of schema markup, structured data, and technical SEO implementations

  • Experience optimizing for multiple digital properties or storefronts
