CRO Manager
About the Role:

In this role, you will work with our digital team, offline team and clients to define landing page optimization amp; conversion rate optimization strategies—creating testing roadmaps, overseeing the end-to-end design and development of web pages, managing the testing process using common testing platforms like VWO, and performing data analysis to continuously refine web page strategy. A majority of your time will be spent on client-specific responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead CRO and/or LPO discussions and strategy with your clients
  • Lead CRO/LPO client and partner communications through Slack, video calls, and emails
  • Work with other members of the CRO team to manage the implementation and performance of landing page and/or website testing for your book of 4 to 6 clients
  • Create tests, complete test analysis and report on test results
  • Find optimization opportunities, using qualitative and quantitative data (Google Analytics amp; Microsoft Clarity)
  • Work directly with our design and engineering teams to set project timelines, and effectively prioritize based on impact, effort, and available resources
  • Audit analytics sources, and troubleshoot common issues. Effectively escalate any uncommon issue to internal or external subject matter experts
  • Work with your cross functional team to strategize and test high converting pages to form a holistic approach for your clients
  • Understanding of growth/digital marketing to create cohesive, big picture strategies that take into account user intent, channel type, audience and ad strategy, and other basics including:
    • Media buying KPI's amp; event optimization/learning phase tactics
    • Creative strategy and testing cadence amp; process
    • Growth marketing reporting amp; analysis
    • Social amp; Search campaign analysis in Google Analytics
    • Prospecting vs. Retargeting audience behaviors and traffic distribution
    • Branded Search vs. Non-Branded Search campaign behaviors
    • Social amp; Search Pixel lookback windows amp; audience segmentation

Requirements:
  • 2-3+ years of full-time experience working in CRO or similar role, ideally within an agency/client environment
  • Travel expectations: rare, with the possibility of up to 1 event per year
  • Ability to efficiently analyze data for insights and generate hypotheses for fast iteration testing, optimizing for conversion rate and other applicable KPIs
  • 1+ year experience using A/B testing tools (ex: VWO, Optimizely, AB Tasty)
  • Working knowledge of paid marketing channels including but not limited to paid social (ex: Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat), SEM (ex: Google Ads)
  • Highly proficient (2+ years experience) using web analytics tools (ex: Google Analytics)
  • Understanding of tag managers (Google Tag Manager, Segment), pixel implementation, site tracking tools
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to self-manage time and work schedule
  • Experience with larger cross-functional teams amp; projects is a plus
  • Positive, flexible, and well organized to thrive in a fast-moving environment and meet challenging deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong working relationship

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
