Job description

Role Overview:
The Vault CRM Integration Lead is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the integration workstream for a major pharmaceutical client's Veeva CRM to Vault CRM migration. This role encompasses the full integration estate from discovery through design, build, system integration testing, UAT support, validation, and hypercare across a multi-org, multi-geography landscape. The Integration Lead serves as the primary coordination point across the platform vendor, partner SIs, client data teams, and upstream/downstream enterprise system owners, governing the tiering model, managing cross-team test sequencing, defect triage, and ensuring timely, validated, and observable integration delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the integration delivery lifecycle across all in-scope integrations (assessment, design, development, deployment, testing, hypercare), ensuring remediation and operational readiness in Vault without business disruption.
  • Confirm and re-baseline the final in-scope inventory and change types post-discovery, including any new integrations introduced during the program.
  • Govern the Tier x Pattern model, applying tier criteria and per-integration counts to drive estimates and test sizing.
  • Operate the post-discovery true-up mechanism, intercepting in-flight legacy changes and re-baselining counts at the agreed cadence.
  • Secure SME availability and sequence test windows around the release cadences of upstream/downstream enterprise systems; manage cross-team defect triage and escalate blocking issues.
  • Align integration design sign-off with the platform vendor's gate and operate joint design forums and conflict-resolution paths.
  • Drive integration sequencing across the multi-org wave plan, coordinating environment readiness, test-data provisioning, and code promotion for each wave.
  • Manage dependencies on vendor-owned components (e.g., Vault Java SDK, core metadata/data migration tooling) to prevent build blocks.
  • Own end-to-end system integration test planning and execution across environments, including test scripts, data, execution evidence, defect management, and retesting.
  • Deliver CSV/validation artifacts to the client's standards with full requirements-to-evidence traceability, and provide Go/No-Go input per wave.
  • Deliver observability connections and monitoring for the integration estate, and lead integration hypercare against P1/P2 SLAs with defined war-room and triage cadence.
  • Execute transition to steady state, including runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge transfer to client Tier 1 / Tier 2, with formal handover acceptance.

Required Skills:
  • Platform Expertise: Veeva Vault CRM and Veeva CRM (Salesforce-based); Vault integration components (Vault REST API, Direct Data API, Spark Messaging); Vault data model and security model; Veeva Align.
  • Integration & Middleware: Apache Iceberg / Databricks (or Snowflake); AWS and Databricks integration patterns; Spark Messaging architecture; REST API at scale; Informatica (PowerCenter, IICS, ICRT); MuleSoft; marketing-cloud automation.
  • Delivery Capability: Tier x Pattern estimation and true-up governance; SIT planning and cross-team defect triage; multi-vendor delivery alongside platform vendors and client teams; global onshore/offshore delivery across multiple time zones.
  • Compliance: GxP validation, 21 CFR Part 11, PHI/PII handling, CSV (IQ/OQ/PQ), requirements traceability, multi-region data residency.
  • Data & AI: Iceberg Lakehouse enablement for client AI platforms (targeting, route optimization); MDM integrations (e.g., Reltio).
  • Tools: Jira, GitHub, ServiceNow, enterprise monitoring (e.g., Splunk), AWS (Lambda, Glue), Databricks, Vault Dev/QA/Prod environments, VDI/Citrix.

Qualifications:
  • Vault CRM Certified
  • Veeva CRM-to-Vault CRM migration experience
  • 7+ years integration delivery with proven lead role on large-scale, multi-geography, multi-system pharma commercial programs

Preferred Skills:
  • Digital: Databricks
  • Veeva Vault Platform
  • Veeva CRM
  • Amazon Web Services Data & Analytics
