Position Summary:
The EHS Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies. This role plays a key part in promoting a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
Education/Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in environmental management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field is required.
  • A master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in an EHS role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update EHS policies and procedures to comply with current regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate EHS risks.
  • Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees.
  • Monitor, track, and report on EHS performance metrics.
  • Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies during site inspections and audits.
  • Manage hazardous waste and chemical inventories, and coordinate proper disposal processes.
  • Ensure documentation and recordkeeping for all EHS-related activities.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement of EHS programs.
