Director, Production Operations
Location: Stamford, CT (On-site at WWE Headquarters)
Reports To: Head of Production Operations
WWE, part of TKO Group Holdings, is seeking a highly organized, strategic, and execution-focused Director, Production Operations to support the Head of Production Operations in driving operational excellence across large-scale productions and live events. This role will serve as a key partner in managing complex initiatives across TKO properties, ensuring departmental priorities remain on track while creating scalable processes, operational efficiencies, and organizational structure.
A critical component of this role is the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across departments, business units, vendors, and key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment to successfully execute operational priorities. The ideal candidate is an experienced production operations leader with a strong background in live events, production management, logistics, budgeting, and cross-functional partnership. This individual thrives in fast-paced environments, can seamlessly manage multiple priorities, and brings a solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
Operational Leadership & Strategic Support
  • Provide direct operational and strategic support to the Head of Production Operations, helping manage day-to-day priorities and long-term departmental initiatives.
  • Lead and manage multiple production and operational initiatives across TKO properties, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
  • Track departmental priorities, deliverables, ensuring initiatives remain on schedule and stakeholders remain informed.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal departments to align operational needs, improve communication, and drive execution.

Production Operations & Logistics
  • Support production logistics for live events and large-scale productions, including travel coordination, crewing, vendor management, scheduling, and operational planning.
  • Support monthly travel requirements to weekend events, ensuring smooth execution of on-site needs.
  • Manage production-related logistics including contracts, legal documentation, insurance requirements, and operational compliance.
  • Support department organization and infrastructure, implementing systems and workflows that improve operational effectiveness and scalability.

Budgeting & Financial Management
  • Manage production budgets and reporting, including tracking expenses, forecasting, and financial reconciliation.
  • Work with FP&A to support P&Ls and production cost reporting to ensure financial accountability and efficiency.
  • Utilize Movie Magic software and other budgeting tools to support production planning and expense management.

Process Improvement & Project Management
  • Identify opportunities to create efficiencies, streamline workflows, and implement operational best practices across departments.
  • Drive project management efforts for cross-functional initiatives, ensuring milestones, deadlines, and deliverables are met.
  • Help establish scalable operational processes within a fast-paced, evolving environment, leveraging prior startup or high-growth experience.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Production Management, Production Operations, Live Events, or Large-Scale Event Operations.
  • Proven experience managing complex production logistics, budgets, and operational execution for large-scale events.
  • Strong experience with budgeting, expense reporting, and P&L management.
  • Proficiency in Movie Magic software and production budgeting tools.
  • Experience managing travel logistics, crewing, vendor coordination, legal contracts, and insurance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes across multiple departments.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience implementing workflows, improving efficiencies, and scaling operational processes.
  • Startup, high-growth, or rapidly evolving business experience strongly preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel monthly to weekend events as needed.
