Small Warehouse seeking experienced Supervisor to oversee the accuracy and productivity of the Warehouse and Delivery staff. Responsibilities would include but not limited to, ensuring incoming deliveries match BOL's and anything missing or damaged notated and signed off on by delivery driver, insuring proper put away, locating purchase orders in our system and ensuring the products are received in accurately and timely. Overseeing all preparation of orders, inspecting for damage, accuracy of product and remedying issues found before merchandise is loaded on trucks for delivery. Supervising all loading of our delivery trucks, checking off their delivery paperwork for accuracy, inspecting our delivery trucks upon arrival from deliveries for cleanliness and restocking any missing supplies. Delegating tasks to delivery staff and warehouse personnel during down times and ensuring and supervising any tasks given by the Ops Manager. Also understanding this is a small warehouse where you will be with one or 2 other workers at times and sometimes even the only one in the warehouse to complete these tasks. The person we are looking for is a natural leader, clearly standing out from the crew. There is always more work and this person should always be checking in with the ops manager for more work and tasks to keep the staff productive Enforcing the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility inside and out by delegation and inspection of EOD clean up. Must have experience with a forklift, reach lift, can pass a background check, drug screen and driver's license check. Must have valid license and reliable transportation. Must be able to take orders and delegate effectively. Must have an understanding that there is only "One Right Way" to do things and can follow those processes and ensures the staff is following them as well and must have a "company first" mindset. Must have at least 3 years verifiable employment as a lead or supervisor supervising 5 or more employees. Must have stable employment history meaning we are not looking for someone who hops from job to job frequently, the right candidate will have a lengthy employment with past employers. This person will be a problem solver, handy and have a comfortability using tools and reading directions. Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently, must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in hot and cold conditions as the main portion of the warehouse is not temp controlled.
