Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Branch Manager to keep daily operations running seamlessly across teller, member service, and lending functions
  • Be the go-to expert-answering everything from quick questions to more complex scenarios around products, policies, and regulations
  • Oversee cash operations, including vault balancing, cash ordering, and decision-making around member transactions and funds availability
  • Jump in when needed-serving as a teller or vault teller and handling all related duties with confidence
  • Drive growth by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and connecting members with the right financial solutions
  • Help the branch hit (and exceed) goals for loans, new accounts, and referrals
  • Open new accounts and guide members through important financial decisions
  • Detect and prevent fraudulent activity-protecting both members and the credit union
  • Review and explain credit reports in a clear, helpful way
  • Originate, process, and close loans from start to finish
  • Coach and develop team members-building their technical skills, sales confidence, and people skills

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a financial institution
  • 1+ year of cash handling experience
  • A genuine passion for helping both members and your team succeed
