Position Summary

This position is a hybrid role meaning you will be coming into the Cumberland, RI office two-three days a week.

As an Credit Card and Digital Payment Reconciler, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving variances between CVS in-store and online sale and the settlement of various payment tenders (Credit/Debit, Venmo/PayPal, etc.), and the reconciliation of General Ledger balances against bank activity. You will be required to analyze data and create journal entries. The role may also require researching payment inquiries or verifying the validity of a customer dispute.

The Retail Accounting department is an exciting and fast-paced environment where there is always something new to learn. The ideal candidate is a positive-minded team player who enjoys collaborating with both internal and external parties
Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years accounting/analytical/budgeting experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years accounting/analytical/budgeting experience
  • High level organization, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to perform root-cause analysis/troubleshooting
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Access, Excel and ability to navigate through financial systems
  • SharePoint experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with upper level management and external/internal groups
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Payment processing/settlement processing experience
  • Remote work and virtual collaboration experience


Education

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $38.82

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
