Job description

State Credit Union is in need of a Credit Card Assistant in the Columbia, SC area.
Applicants should be detail oriented and have an excellent work performance history. Candidates must have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, have proper telephone etiquette, be able to work well in a team environment, and have excellent customer service and follow through skills. Experience supporting operations at a bank, credit union, or other financial institution is preferred but not required. Candidates must have basic Excel skills, the ability to research and troubleshoot departmental transactions and functions. All applicants must have excellent written and oral communication skills, required to be detail-oriented, well organized, the ability to multi-task and work well in a team-oriented environment.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Daily processing of credit card applications
  • Answer phone calls from branches and phone center related to items posted to members' accounts
  • Research account activity
  • Update daily department spreadsheets and ensure the accuracy of the information reported
