Description
Title: Cobrand Card Relationship Manager, Customer Experience
Location: Remote (California preferred)
Reports To: VP, Strategy and Operations
The Company:
Sunbit builds financial technology for real life. Our AI-native platform helps more people get to "yes" at the moments that matter with personalized offers, transparent terms, and no added consumer fees. In stores, practices and service centers across the country, Sunbit provides a fast, fair pay-over-time option. For everything else, the Sunbit Credit Card delivers a modern, no-fee credit experience managed in a powerful mobile app.
We are guided by people-centered values: Serve Others Before Self, Include Always, Connect Genuinely, Innovate for Good. These values shape how we build, how we support customers and merchants, and how we work with each other.
What makes Sunbit different is an AI-native infrastructure that runs through the full customer and merchant journey. Our interconnected AI systems power instant decisioning, streamline fraud checks with human-in-the-loop safeguards, and enable highly personalized offers at scale. The result is a quick, fair, and simple experience for consumers and merchants.
We pair this technology with inclusion and transparency. Sunbit delivers industry-leading approval rates - 90%+ in auto service and 85%+ in dental - while maintaining zero consumer fee-based revenue. It is a better way to serve people and merchants, proven at scale.
Today, Sunbit is available across a nationwide, in-person merchant network of 30,000+ locations spanning auto service centers, dental and optical practices, veterinary clinics, and other specialty services. We help teams say "yes" more often and help customers move forward with confidence.
The Role:
Sunbit is seeking a highly organized, resourceful, and results-driven Cobrand Card Relationship Manager to serve as the right-hand partner to the VP, Strategy and Operations. This role will lead the successful launch and ongoing growth of Sunbit's co-brand credit card partnerships. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of relationship management, cross-functional leadership, and operational execution.

You will own complex, cross-functional initiatives from inception through execution, coordinating across marketing, product, operations, legal, compliance, analytics, and external partner teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
This role requires someone who combines executive presence and strong communication skills with exceptional organizational rigor. You should be equally comfortable leading a partner Quarterly Business Review, running a launch readiness meeting, managing a detailed GANTT chart, or escalating risks to executive leadership. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and energized by operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where no two days look the same.
Requirements
What You'll Own:
Strategic Partner Management
  • Serve as a primary relationship manager for Sunbit's co-brand credit card partners, helping to foster strong, collaborative relationships with executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Lead recurring partner touchpoints including status meetings, launch reviews, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Travel for face-to-face meetings at least monthly when needed
  • Support partner growth initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve acquisition, engagement, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between external partners and internal Sunbit teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

Partnership Launch & PMO Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end execution of new co-brand card launches and major partnership initiatives.
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, GANTT charts, launch timelines, RAID logs, and cross-functional trackers to ensure successful execution.
  • Coordinate and facilitate internal and external project management meetings, driving accountability across stakeholders and proactively mitigating risks.
  • Partner closely with marketing, product, legal, compliance, operations, analytics, and technology teams to ensure launch readiness and successful go-to-market execution.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple active workstreams while maintaining strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Cross-Functional Program Management
  • Drive operational rigor and accountability across strategic initiatives by establishing clear owners, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Translate high-level strategic objectives into actionable project plans and executable deliverables.
  • Monitor partnership and launch performance through KPI tracking, reporting, and post-launch analysis.
  • Prepare executive-ready presentations, updates, and business reviews for internal leadership and external partners.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement scalable operational best practices across partnership management and launch execution.

Example Projects:
  • Launch New Co-Brand Credit Card Partnerships
  • Own the end-to-end coordination of new partner launches, including project planning, stakeholder management, and launch readiness execution.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive launch timelines and GANTT charts across internal and external teams.
  • Coordinate product, marketing, operational, compliance, and technical workstreams to ensure successful and timely launches.
  • Facilitate recurring launch meetings, track risks and dependencies, and provide executive-level status reporting.

Manage and Grow Strategic Retail Partnerships
  • Serve as a strategic relationship lead for key co-brand partners such as major national retail brands.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive program performance, customer engagement, and operational excellence.
  • Lead recurring business reviews and performance discussions, translating data into actionable recommendations and strategic opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives designed to improve partner satisfaction, acquisition performance, and customer experience outcomes.

What you'll bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, program management, account management, consulting, fintech, payments, or related strategic operations roles.
  • Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of an organization.
  • Program & Project Management Expertise
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with experience managing complex timelines, dependencies, and competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to create and manage GANTT charts, project plans, launch schedules, and operational trackers.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to proactively identify risks and drive resolution.
  • Ownership & Problem Solving
  • Highly proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented with a strong ownership mentality.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Collaboration & Leadership
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared goals.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in wherever needed to ensure successful outcomes.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to play a highly visible role in shaping and scaling Sunbit's co-brand credit card partnerships. If you are a relationship-driven operator who loves building structure, driving execution, and leading high-impact initiatives, we'd love to hear from you.
