Job description

The incumbent will analyze and decision consumer and business applications using buying guidelines, to minimize financial risk for Honda and assist in sales of Honda and Acura product. The incumbent will support dealers with analyzing consumer applications, credit history, and inquiries as well as monitor risk related and escalated applications and processes, ensuring correct measures and guidelines are applied. The incumbent will also support other departments in relation to financial significance as required.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze, verify and adjudicate credit applications according to Credit policies. Investigate and grant credit on applications received from Dealers on Ebiz by reviewing customers' credit history, debt service and max advance guidelines

  • Negotiate terms and conditions on credit with dealers to ensure an acceptable level of risk. Provide Dealer support by answering inquiries related to consumer applications, programs, rate programs and vehicle residual values to maintain positive relationships

  • Coordinate workflows to ensure processing efficiency and accuracy

  • Assist in the development of credit policies and procedures required to ensure maximum efficiencies

  • Provide exceptional front line support to dealers by professionally answering questions pertaining to credit decisions and current programs

  • Perform other duties and support other departments as required

POSITION PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed College Diploma or University Degree (preference in Business) and/or have equivalent related business experience is required

  • Bilingual (French/English - both oral and written) is required

  • Collections and/or Recovery experience is an asset

  • Hours of work (EST): Monday to Thursdays 8:00AM to 10:00 PM, Fridays 8:00AM to 9:00PM, Saturdays 8:30AM to 8:00PM (minimum of 2 Saturdays per month will be required)

  • Rotating shifts: Shifts will change based on business needs

  • Able to read Credit Bureaus and have strong research and analytical skills is required

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain business relations

  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and CASS) are required

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, resourceful and self-reliant

  • Must be a team player, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and willing to work overtime as required

  • Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision

RESPONSABILITES DE FONCTION PRINCIPALES

  • Analyse et verifie les demandes de credit et rend les decisions sur celles-ci, conformement aux politiques sur le credit. Enquete et accorde le credit pour les demandes recues des concessionnaires sur eBiz en revisant l'historique de credit du client, son endettement et les lignes directrices Max Advance.

  • Negocie les termes et les conditions du credit avec les concessionnaires pour s'assurer d'un niveau de risque acceptable. Fournit du soutien aux concessionnaires en repondant a leurs demandes de renseignements en relation avec les demandes des clients, programmes, programmes de taux et valeurs residuelles des vehicules, afin de maintenir des relations positives.

  • Coordonne le deroulement des operations pour assurer un traitement efficace et precis des demandes.

  • Aide au developpement des politiques et procedures de credit requises pour assurer un maximum d'efficacite.

  • Fournit un soutien de premiere ligne exceptionnel aux concessionnaires en repondant de facon professionnelle aux questions relatives aux decisions de credit et aux programmes courants.

  • Effectue d'autres taches et offre du soutien a d'autres services, au besoin.

PROFIL DU POSTE ET QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diplome collegial ou universitaire termine (preferablement en gestion des affaires) et/ou une experience equivalente en entreprise.

  • Bilinguisme (francais/anglais - oral et ecrit) requis.

  • Une experience en perception et/ou recouvrement est un atout.

  • Horaires de travail (HNE) : Du lundi au jeudi, de 8 h a 22 h, le vendredi, de 8 h a 21 h, le samedi, de 8 h 30 a 20 h (un minimum de deux samedis par mois est requis).

  • Horaires de travail en rotation: Les horaires varient selon les besoins de l'entreprise.

  • Quarts de travail rotatifs. Les heures de travail peuvent changer selon les besoins de la compagnie.
