What are creative jobs?

Creative jobs are jobs that require artistic talent or a creative mindset, and they usually refer to jobs in the advertising, marketing, graphic design, apparel manufacturing, literary, and film industries. The specific qualifications for creative jobs vary by field and position. For example, if you want to work in the art department at an ad agency, you need to have strong visual skills, a talent for graphic or fine art, and excellent drawing and drafting skills. Meanwhile, as a copywriter, you need to have strong written communication skills. Your duties and responsibilities also vary depending on the type of creative work you do.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a creative, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Creative, you need a strong portfolio showcasing artistic ability, innovative thinking, and proficiency in design or content creation, often supported by a degree in a related field. Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other digital media platforms is typically required. Standout soft skills include adaptability, collaboration, and effective communication to convey ideas and work with diverse teams or clients. These skills and qualities are essential to producing compelling work that meets project goals and adapts to evolving creative trends.

What is a creative?

Creatives are professionals involved in generating original ideas and producing content across various fields, such as advertising, marketing, design, writing, and the arts. Their main role is to develop visually appealing, engaging, or thought-provoking materials that help communicate messages, promote brands, or entertain audiences. Creatives can include graphic designers, copywriters, art directors, illustrators, and more, often working in teams or agencies to bring concepts to life.

How does a creative professional typically collaborate with other departments during a project?

Creative professionals often work closely with teams such as marketing, product management, and development to ensure their concepts align with overall business goals. Collaboration usually involves brainstorming sessions, regular feedback meetings, and iterative revisions based on input from key stakeholders. This cross-functional teamwork helps to refine ideas, maintain brand consistency, and deliver effective campaigns or products. Being open to feedback and adaptable to changes are important qualities for success in this collaborative environment.

Job description

This role is accountable for using creative production tools to produce, adapt, and localize image and video assets across our portfolio of brands and markets at scale. This role is part of the engine of an evolving hybrid production model, bringing greater speed and scalability to in-house creative delivery while maintaining brand quality and consistency.
As part of the Marketing Transformation team, you will work closely with brand, marketing, and creative teams on end-to-end development and adaptation of creative assets across different audiences, channels, and markets, leveraging generative AI to accelerate production at scale. Your day to day:

  • Lead AI content adaptation workflows
  • Execute end-to-end GenAI production, from concept through finished deliverable, including converting still images to video and producing localized campaign variations
  • Direct in-house editing team on formatting, color grading, packaging, and last mile delivery and quality control to ensure final output meets brand and technical standards

What we need from you:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Marketing, Communications, Film, Digital Media, Fine Arts, Computer Science) or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on creative production experience, with demonstrated work using generative AI tools
  • Proven experience creating high-quality image and video content end-to-end (concept through final delivery); must be a hands-on maker
  • Demonstrated use of generative AI tools for creation and adaptation (image, video, and editing tools), including the ability to iterate quickly and improve outputs through prompting and experimentation
  • Experience adapting or localizing creative assets at scale, translating a single campaign or concept into multiple formats, markets, or audiences
  • Experience building or optimizing creative production workflows, including establishing repeatable processes that improve speed, volume, and cost efficiency
  • Ability to own the full production lifecycle, from concepting and storyboarding to final asset delivery, including working with editing teams for final formatting and packaging
  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments, with a track record of adopting new tools and approaches without waiting for formal direction or validation
  • Proven ability to collaborate with or direct creative contributors (e.g., editors, freelancers, or offshore teams), ensuring output meets brand and technical standards.

Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in the Atlanta office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $74,000.00 to $80,000.00. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
