What You'll DoRESPONSIBILITIES:
We're seeking an experienced educator to lead our preschoolers in STEM activities using the Seeds of STEM curriculum and our unique Science curriculum.
Our ideal candidate will create a fun and engaging learning environment that prioritizes the physical and emotional well-being of our students.
Developing schedules and routines that ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime is a must.
Potty training support is also an essential part of this role.
Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues is crucial.
Open communication with parents about their child's growth and progress is a key responsibility.
Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all students is a top priority.
Our candidate must be reliable, responsible, and follow school rules and regulations.
RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS
Must have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
CDA Credentials and Georgia Approved Trainer certification are preferred.
Previous experience working in childcare is required.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and oral) are essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must.
Knowledge of Bright From the Start regulations, Quality Rated system, Environmental Rating Scales, and Georgia State-Funded Pre-K system is required.
Familiarity with National Accreditation standards and assessment tools, including NAEYC, NECPA, COA, and NAFCC, is a plus.
Passionate about working with children and building rapport with families is a must.
Ability to pass a federal background check is required.
Meet all Georgia Department of Early Learning training certifications and qualifications for preschool teachers.
Must be able to physically stand for 2 hours or more, bend, lift, and work in a high-noise environment.
