This position is onsite in Lancaster, SC with the hours of Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm.


Summary of the Position:
The Creative Designer is responsible for executing a wide range of design deliverables in support of Nutramax brand, product, and campaign initiatives. Reporting to the Production Design Manager, this role focuses on creating packaging, print, digital, and event assets that align with brand standards and project requirements. The Creative Designer develops layouts, prepares files for prepress and production, and supports asset management processes to ensure accuracy and consistency. This position is highly executional, working closely with the Production Design Manager while contributing creative skills cross-functionally to bring brand strategies to life across multiple channels.


Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and edit a variety of print material and creative assets including, but not limited to, product packaging, retail focused merchandising displays, tradeshow material, literature, advertising, and other marketing collateral.

Produce digital assets as needed including, but not limited to, panel images, A+ / A+ Premium, and other eCommerce content.

Prepare prepress files for production, ensuring accuracy and consistency, while adhering to design principles, required design specs, best practices, and style or brand guidelines.

Review and process printer proofs, mockups, and vendor-provided 3D renderings.

Create product renderings as needed.

Follow established file naming conventions, asset organization, and version control procedures.

Collaborate and maintain open communication with cross-functional teams and external vendors (ex. Photographers and printers) to complete design projects with guidance from Production Design manager.

Working closely with the Production Design Manager:

Submit drafts of all creative to the Production Design Manager for feedback and review.

Maintain open communication: Align, update, and inform manager to changes, issues, or delays

Stay current with design and production trends, tools, and best practices.

Perform other assigned duties in support of marketing and company objectives.

Regular attendance is required


Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, related field, or equivalent experience.

1-3 years of design and production experience in a marketing, advertising, or communications setting.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other creative technology or software.

Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, production-ready files.

Familiarity with prepress production, packaging design, and digital asset creation.

Experience in illustration, a plus.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to take direction and incorporate feedback.
