Salt is built on a foundation where Production and Creative go hand in hand with a process that is exciting, collaborative and transparent. With a people-first approach, Salt believes quality can only be achieved with the right team.
As a production agency, we collaborate with creative from the start-whether in-house, brand-side, or a powerhouse partner-to bring clients' design dreams to life, exactly as envisioned. We are logistical magicians and operational experts-a killer combo for flawless execution. And we live for creating challenging builds within budget, but never at the expense of our team's ability to thrive. As a radically compassionate company, we value people over profits and our work is all the better for it. Big ideas are our specialty, start-to-finish integration is our superpower, and we actualize experiences that thrill, engage, and inspire.
ROLE: Creative Tech Producer
REPORTS INTO: Sr. Creative Tech Producer
LOCATION: Hybrid | Los Angeles (Preferred) or New York City
What is a Creative Tech Producer at salt:
A Creative Tech Producer is the engine behind the execution of technology-driven experiences at salt. You own the day-to-day production of creative technology projects, managing timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships while keeping creative vision and technical reality in sync. You work closely with Creative Technologists and Sr. Producers to translate complex briefs into well-run, well-documented activations, and you are comfortable in both a planning room and on a show site. On some projects, your scope will extend into fabrication, supporting the production of scenic elements where technology and physical builds intersect.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end production process for assigned creative technology projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, workback schedules, and resource tracking.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including creative, technical, and fabrication to ensure seamless project execution across all phases.
  • Support the Sr. Creative Tech Producer with client communications, providing clear project updates and managing day-to-day correspondence.
  • Build and manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, handling outreach, estimates, and procurement of tools, hardware, and software.
  • Define and track project budgets, managing expenses and flagging risks to the Sr. Producer proactively.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate budget documentation and forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with creative teams and Creative Technologists to ensure technical scopes align with creative intent and client objectives.
  • Support fabrication producers with the production of scenic elements that integrate technology, helping manage vendors, timelines, and on-site coordination where the two workstreams intersect.
  • Oversee on-site installation, live execution, and strike of all assigned technology and fabrication elements, managing vendors and labor calls on the ground.
  • Implement quality checks throughout production to ensure all deliverables meet project specs and client expectations.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and project demands, staying calm and solution-focused under pressure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in creative project management or production, with a focus on technology-driven or experiential projects.
  • Proven experience managing budgets up to $500k and delivering projects on time and within scope.
  • Strong understanding of creative processes, production workflows, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with both creative and technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Figma, or similar.
  • Flexibility to travel and work on-site during event installations.

Salt Core Values + You
  • Redefine the Rules: Creative and production fighting like cats and dogs? Not here. We bring creative and production together from the start because a great idea is only as good as how it's brought to life. For us, logistics and aesthetics go hand in hand. We're all about delivering experiences that go beyond the ask.
  • In Search Of: Tackling challenges is our favorite pastime. Obstacles? We call them plot twists. We are creative thinkers and problem-solvers who always find a way forward with curiosity and determination. Our focus is exceeding expectations, turning client asks into an opportunity to deliver something unexpectedly brilliant.
  • Expect More, Get More: We hold ourselves to higher standards than anyone else, always looking for ways to elevate each project. We don't stop at simply checking all the boxes; we push until time runs out. That extra 10% is where we surpass the competition, delivering results beyond what our clients could imagine-or even think to ask for.
  • Compassion is Culture: We are powered by extraordinary humans, and we're dedicated to cultivating an environment where company success is tied to team success. We combat burnout with inspiration, motivation, and genuine support. Without fun, work sucks

You Are:
  • You are a highly organized, execution-focused producer, who can manage multiple moving parts across a complex tech project without losing sight of the creative vision or the budget.
  • You are a natural connector, equally comfortable in a briefing with a creative director and a technical walkthrough with a vendor, keeping all sides aligned and moving in the same direction.
  • You are solutions-oriented and calm under pressure, someone who sees a shifting timeline or an on-site challenge as a problem to solve, not a reason to panic.
