Job description

Overview
As a Creative Technologist, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and creative vision, automating workflows and building data-driven digital experiences that connect brands with consumers. Reporting to the Senior Director, Creative Technology, you will collaborate daily with Art Directors, Digital Producers, and Engineers to turn innovative ideas into high-performance reality.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a tinker at heart. Join a team of over 100 specialists leading a transformative wave in digital media. You will work on Creative Innovation Projects, applying AI models, timely engineering techniques, and new technologies to address challenges and elevate our proprietary tools. By blending your curiosity with technical insight, you will directly influence Epsilon's overall direction and ensure we deliver outstanding, impactful work from day one.
Responsibilities
  • Mastery of Emerging Tech: Advance your skills in GSAP, AI frameworks, and prompt engineering to stay at the forefront of the creative technologist field.
  • Proprietary Innovation: Prototype Epsilon's next generation of advanced creative tools, keeping our agency ahead of the digital media revolution.
  • Operational Excellence: Automate workflows to increase team capacity and scale high-volume, data-driven experiences for global clients without sacrificing quality.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a vital bridge between 100+ designers and engineering partners, translating technical constraints into creative wins.
  • Strategic Influence: Provide direct input into the company's strategic direction and navigate "uncharted waters" to avoid technical pitfalls.
  • Global Career Growth: Access specialized training and certifications with a clear advancement path within the Publicis Groupe network.

Qualifications
What you'll bring with you
  • 3-5 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and version control (Git).
  • Proficiency in prototyping and experimentation using Cursor, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Canva.
  • A proven understanding of visual design, typography, and responsive, cross-platform development.
  • Strong debugging skills and the ability to autonomously troubleshoot complex environments.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Design, Digital Media, or completion of a relevant coding bootcamp.

Why you might stand out from other talent
  • You don't just use AI; you know how to apply prompt and context engineering to tackle unique design challenges.
  • You are naturally curious and take action-whether building custom Python/Bash scripts or exploring new SDD frameworks.
  • You navigate fluently between creative brainstorming and engineering logic, acting as the "connective tissue" for the team.
  • You value speed-to-feedback, prototyping ideas quickly to gather data, and iterating until the solution is best-in-class.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or similar data analytics software and experience in vertical markets like finance, healthcare, CPG, or retail.
