Job description

Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center is looking for an energetic, patient, and creative teacher for a preschool classroom. Applicants should be able to share how they would develop a nurturing and creative program suitable for preschool children.

Ideal candidates will possess the spirit of leading with a servant's heart.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with early learning standards
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
  • Monitor and assess student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and team members
  • Collaborate with related service providers and staff
  • Maintain compliance with all state licensing and program requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Valid Ohio Department of Education (ODE) teaching license in Early Childhood Education
  • Experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
