Job description

itD is seeking a Senior Customer Program Manager to lead complex customer programs, drive technology adoption and value realization, and support business growth across premium customer organizations. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in customer-facing program management, multi-technology environments, program governance, financial and performance reporting, risk management, and stakeholder leadership, with a track record of delivering successful program outcomes, customer satisfaction, technology adoption, and business growth.

Location: Onsite — Plano, TX

Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end customer program management, overseeing program scope, timelines, resources, deliverables, and outcomes while adapting to changing business needs and constraints.
  • Develop and execute program vision, strategic implementation plans, governance frameworks, and industry-aligned best practices to drive successful outcomes.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with customer technical and operational leaders, executives, partners, and internal teams while maintaining accountability for program results.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional resources across delivery, technical support, customer success, renewals, and partner teams to drive customer value realization and technology adoption.
  • Monitor and report program performance, technology adoption, financial status, risks, issues, and overall outcomes to senior stakeholders.
  • Drive change management, organizational awareness, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program productivity and successful adoption.
  • Collaborate with sales, renewals, and business development teams to support services growth, customer retention, and revenue opportunities.
Internal Responsibilities:
  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of project/program management experience, or master's degree with 8+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of customer-facing experience managing complex, multi-technology programs.
  • PMP certification or equivalent required.
  • Experience collaborating with customer-employed teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in program and project management practices, financial and performance reporting, risk management, and procurement.
  • Familiarity with contract management and customer satisfaction practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage complex programs autonomously and operate effectively within a matrixed environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PMO governance.
  • Fluent in English and the applicable local language.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Advanced project management certification.
  • Agile certification.
  • Experience leading substantial, moderate-to-high-risk programs across diverse teams and business functions.
  • Experience driving technology adoption, customer value realization, and services or business growth.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to manage difficult conversations and develop creative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate, motivate, mentor peers, and lead adaptively with strong emotional intelligence.

Education:
