Position Summary
The Creative Marketing Coordinator brings the YWCA of Lubbock mission to life through thoughtful design, compelling visual storytelling, and consistent branding. As the organization’s primary graphic design resource, this position creates engaging print and digital content that supports marketing and communication goals across the organization. The role also assists with social media, photography, video, content development, and campaign execution under the direction of the Marketing Director. The ideal candidate is a creative, organized, and detail-oriented professional who can transform ideas into effective visual communications that increase awareness, inspire engagement, and advance the YWCA mission.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality visual content for print and digital platforms that supports the YWCA of Lubbock’s mission, programs, fundraising, events, and community outreach.
  • Design a wide range of branded materials, including social media graphics, brochures, flyers, advertisements, presentations, newsletters, reports, signage, email communications, website content, short-form videos, podcast, and campaign materials.
  • Uphold consistent branding, messaging, and visual standards across all organizational communications and platforms.
  • Develop and manage reusable templates, brand resources, photo and video libraries, and other digital marketing assets.
  • Stay current on graphic design, digital marketing, social media, and communication trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Create, schedule, and manage content for social media, email, website, and other communication platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for social media, website, email, and campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate, current, and engaging website content that aligns with organizational priorities.
  • Manage and update information within communication platforms, marketing databases, the CRM system, and other assigned organizational systems.
  • Capture, edit, organize, and manage photography, video, testimonials, and other storytelling content that demonstrates the YWCA’s programs, mission, and community impact.
  • Collaborate with staff to gather program information, impact data, stories, and organizational updates and translate them into clear and compelling visual communications.
  • Support marketing campaigns, fundraising initiatives, donor stewardship, sponsorship fulfillment, and community outreach through the development of creative materials and communications.
  • Assist with the promotion and execution of organizational events, including communications, registration, marketing materials, vendor coordination, and event-related logistics.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, donors, sponsors, board and committee members, vendors, community partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Represent the YWCA of Lubbock at community events, meetings, and organizational functions as requested.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy, quality, and brand consistency.
  • Support additional marketing, communications, and development initiatives as assigned.
         Additional Responsibilities
  • Serve as a mandated reporter and comply with all applicable laws and organizational policies regarding child protection. Report any suspected child abuse or neglect immediately, but no later than within 24 hours, to the appropriate authorities and in accordance with organizational procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related role.
  • Experience designing for both digital and print platforms.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Nonprofit, fundraising, or mission-driven organization experience preferred.
  • Photography and videography experience preferred.

Core Competencies 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
  • Experience with Canva and other digital content creation platforms.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content scheduling tools.
  • Working knowledge of email marketing software and website content management systems preferred.
  • Basic photography, videography, and photo/video editing skills preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office environment with regular interaction across multiple departments and facilities. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support organizational needs.
