Job description

The Anthropologie Creative Merchandising Manager will be responsible for developing and executing trend led merchandising strategies that resonate with both our existing + incoming customer. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and strong cross functional influence. 


  • Collaborate with the Buying + Merch on post IR ideation, and Styling + Creative / Design Teams to develop + execute creative strategies.

  • Focus on priority areas to ensure alignment with business goals.

  • In partnership with Marketing, implement a trend-led approach to resonate with target audiences.

  • Communicate creative needs to the cross-functional team.

  • Convey channel support requirements to relevant team members.

  • Partner with the Digital Merchandising team to analyze business data.

  • Interpret business insights into actionable creative strategies.

  • Identify additional opportunities to drive demand and improve conversion rates (CVR) throughout the concept-to-customer pipeline.

  • Implement strategies including, but not limited to, creative ideation, product detail page (PDP) improvements, competitive storytelling, email and onsite testing, and social media initiatives.

  • Edit product detail page (PDP) images to effectively tell stories for email, social media, and paid advertising needs.

  • Identify and prioritize creative content requirements for the Design, Marketing and Brand Voice teams.

  • Prioritize curiosity and actively share relevant social and market trends for team interpretation and application
