Community Marketing Assistant (CMA)Job SummaryThe ideal CMA is a positive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated student who is passionate about creating a great resident experience and representing the apartment community in a positive and professional manner. The CMA supports marketing and resident engagement by creating engaging content for current and prospective residents, managing social media, and promoting the community. This role is ideal for a creative, dependable student interested in gaining hands-on experience in social media, marketing, content creation, and property management.Job DescriptionLeasingGreet and assist prospective residents by providing information on apartments, amenities, pricing, availability, and community offerings.Create engaging photos, video, and written content for social media and other approved marketing platforms.Highlight the community, resident events, campus life, amenities, local attractions, and leasing opportunities through creative marketing.Assist with social media management, including posting, monitoring trends, responding to inquiries, and maintaining a consistent content schedule.Support lead generation and follow-up efforts in accordance with company standards.Assist with marketing materials, including flyers, signage, digital graphics, email campaigns, and promotional content.Attend resident and community events to support engagement efforts and capture content for marketing purposes.Assist with housing fairs, promotional events, contests, giveaways, and other leasing and resident-engagement initiatives.Maintain a strong working knowledge of the community, including floorplans, pricing, availability, amenities, and leasing information.Monitor local market trends and competitor activity and provide creative marketing suggestions to the Property Manager.Represent the community professionally and in accordance with company branding, Fair Housing laws, privacy requirements, and company policies.Perform other marketing, leasing, and administrative duties as assigned.Administrative Assist residents with service requests. Enter service requests into the software and pass all service requests to maintenance personnel. Close work orders daily first thing each morning.Collect security deposits (if applicable), rent and all other fees.Plans and implements social activities/gatherings in common areasMonitors the curb appeal and community appearance. Assists with the upkeep of these areas as needed. Alerts management or maintenance personnel of any known issues.Conducts follow-up with residents when necessary to ensure overall customer satisfaction.Maintains open and consistent communication with the Property Manager, Leasing Consultants and the Maintenance Supervisor.Assist with move-in/move-out process (inspections, distributing key packets and literature, collecting rental payments and /or missing paperwork, etc.) as directly by management.Available during non-business hours to respond to lockouts and other minor service issues. *Compensation provided.Assist with enforcement of amenity rules.Assist with keeping the community in a neat and orderly fashion. Report incidents to management immediately.QualificationsFamiliarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and current social media trends.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Basic photography, video editing, and graphic-design abilities.Experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms is preferred.Creative, organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines.Comfortable appearing on camera and interacting with residents and prospective renters.Able to work independently while accepting feedback and collaborating with the property team.Knowledge of student life and the local campus community is preferred.Prior social media, marketing, customer service, or property management experience is helpful but not required.Other RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to travel from floor to floor. The employee will also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time; regularly use hands to operate office equipment and regularly be required to communicate effectively with others.
