Overview

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of the Cavalier Resort's marketing strategy across digital, print, social media, website content, signature events, and on-property guest communications. Working closely with the Director of Marketing, this role ensures marketing initiatives are executed on time, on brand, and aligned with overall business objectives.
As the primary coordinator of marketing projects, the Marketing Manager serves as the operational hub for creative production, content development, campaign execution, vendor coordination, and internal communications. Success in this role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, strong creative instincts, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a complex destination resort consisting of three hotels, award-winning restaurants, resort amenities, and year-round events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing Campaign Execution

  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and on-property channels.
  • Coordinate project timelines and ensure marketing initiatives are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Assist with execution of marketing plans, seasonal campaigns, promotions, and resort initiatives

Content & Creative Management

  • Create and produce high-quality marketing content that reflects the Cavalier Resort brand.
  • Manage creative requests and production across digital and print assets.
  • Maintain consistency in brand standards, messaging, photography, and visual identity.
  • Organize the resort's marketing asset library, including photography, video, logos, creative files, and collateral.

Signature Events & Resort Programming

  • Develop and execute marketing plans supporting signature events, seasonal programming, and resort activations.
  • Coordinate creative assets, event promotion, digital content, and timelines.
  • Conduct post-event performance recaps and document key learnings to improve future campaigns.

Social Media & Online Reputation

  • Manage the resort's social media presence across all platforms.
  • Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content tailored to each audience.

Website & Digital Content

  • Assist in maintaining and auditing resort and brand websites to ensure content remains accurate, current, and optimized.
  • Align website updates, promotional landing pages, event listings, and seasonal content.
  • Support digital marketing initiatives through content management and campaign implementation.

Internal Guest Communications

Own execution of on-property marketing communications, including:

  • Digital kiosks
  • In-room collateral
  • Resort activity guides and weekly entertainment schedules
  • Guest text messaging
  • Other internal guest-facing communication channels

Vendor & Community Relations

  • Coordinate relationships with photographers, videographers, media partners, local tourism organizations, and creative vendors.
  • Assist with marketing partnerships and promotional opportunities that strengthen the resort's presence within the community.

Marketing Operations

  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and vendor documentation.
  • Maintain organized project files, marketing calendars, and campaign documentation.
  • Assist with reporting, analytics, and department administrative support.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, hospitality marketing, digital content, or project management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office, and project management platforms.
  • Familiarity with CMS website platforms, email marketing, and marketing analytics is preferred.
  • Hospitality, resort, lifestyle, or destination marketing experience is highly desirable.
