Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Management
  • Develop and maintain a strong, consistent retail brand identity across all consumer touchpoints, including stores, packaging, digital, and social.
  • Partner with leadership to evolve brand positioning and messaging that reflect the company's vision and retail goals.
  • Monitor market and customer trends, using insights to guide brand storytelling and campaign development.

Content Development & Copywriting
  • Write and edit engaging copy for retail marketing campaigns, product launches, in-store signage, promotional materials, social/blog content, press releases and web pages.
  • Develop compelling narratives that connect products to customer lifestyles and inspire purchase decisions.
  • Maintain brand voice guidelines and ensure all messaging aligns with brand tone and personality.

Creative Direction & Visual Brand Oversight
  • Act as an internal Art Director, guiding the creative development of campaigns, retail visuals, and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with design, photography, and merchandising teams to ensure product visuals and marketing assets are cohesive and on brand.
  • Provide creative direction on photo shoots, store signage, and seasonal campaigns to ensure alignment with marketing objectives and visual standards.

Campaign Management & Execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Merchandising, E-Commerce, Operations) to ensure marketing initiatives support key business goals.

Collaboration & Leadership
  • Serve as a creative liaison between internal departments and external agencies or freelancers.
  • Partner with store teams to ensure brand messaging and visuals are consistently executed in the retail environment.
  • Support and mentor design staff.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
  • Previous agency experience highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage both the creative process and the strategic execution of campaigns.
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with a sharp understanding of brand voice.
  • Experience collaborating with photography, design, and merchandising teams.
  • Ability to balance creative vision with business goals and performance metrics.
