Job description

About Genus AI

Genus AI is the operating layer for AI-native commerce.

We help leading D2C brands turn their product catalog into a performance engine — combining feed infrastructure, creative automation, and performance intelligence to unlock revenue from paid media.

We sit at the intersection of:

  • Product data
  • AI-driven creative generation
  • Performance analytics
  • Paid social infrastructure

Our platform powers catalog-driven advertising across Meta, TikTok, and beyond — for brands serious about scale.

We are a lean, high-caliber team.

We move fast.

We own outcomes.

We measure everything.

If you want to learn how creative actually drives revenue — not just engagement — this is where you do it.

Requirements

The Role

We are hiring a Junior Creative Strategist — not just a designer.

This role blends:

  • Performance creative
  • Data interpretation
  • Structured testing
  • Catalog-driven advertising
  • Client collaboration

You will work on paid social creative for fast-growing D2C brands — building and iterating catalog ads that directly impact revenue.

This is not a “make it look pretty” job.
This is a “make it convert” job.

You will:

  • Build DPA templates that scale across product feeds
  • Analyze performance data to identify creative winners
  • Help structure testing frameworks
  • Learn how creative decisions influence ROAS
  • Collaborate directly with CSMs, strategists, and clients

You’ll see your work in market — and you’ll see the revenue it drives.

What You’ll Do???? Creative Strategy & Execution
  • Design high-performing catalog ads (Meta, TikTok, Google)
  • Build scalable, feed-driven templates
  • Develop structured creative variations for testing
  • Create hooks, headlines, layouts, and visual hierarchies optimized for conversion
  • Translate performance insights into new creative directions
  • Support creative brief development based on data trends

You’ll learn how to think like a performance marketer — not just a designer.

???? Performance & Data Fluency
  • Review campaign data with Customer Success Managers
  • Interpret CTR, CVR, ROAS, CPA, and engagement metrics
  • Identify patterns across winning creatives
  • Contribute insights into what’s working (and why)
  • Help build creative reporting summaries for clients

You will become fluent in creative-performance feedback loops.

???? Catalog-Driven Commerce
  • Work within dynamic product ad systems
  • Understand how product feeds influence creative output
  • Design for scalability across hundreds or thousands of SKUs
  • Think in systems — not one-off assets

This is a rare opportunity to learn catalog infrastructure as creative leverage.

???? Client & Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Participate in internal strategy discussions
  • Contribute to creative presentations
  • Iterate quickly based on client and performance feedback
  • Work closely with product and growth teams

Your voice matters here — even as a junior.

What We’re Looking ForCore Skills
  • Strong visual fundamentals (layout, typography, hierarchy)
  • Mobile-first mindset
  • Ability to design clean, bold, conversion-focused creative
  • Attention to detail when working with dynamic data
  • Structured thinker (you can explain why something should perform)
Performance Curiosity

You do not need 5+ years of experience.
But you must be:

  • Curious about performance marketing
  • Interested in consumer psychology
  • Excited by testing and iteration
  • Comfortable learning analytics platforms
  • Motivated by measurable outcomes
Tools
  • Figma (required)
  • Canva (required)
  • Adobe Suite (Photoshop / Illustrator)
  • Basic motion skills a plus
  • Interest in AI creative tools a strong plus
What Makes This Role Elite

At Genus AI:

You won’t:

  • Resize banners endlessly
  • Hand off work without seeing results
  • Sit in a massive layered hierarchy

You will:

  • See how creative impacts real revenue
  • Learn paid social infrastructure deeply
  • Develop performance-driven thinking early
  • Build both creative and analytical muscles
  • Work directly with founders and high-growth brands

This is training for future:

  • Senior Creative Strategist
  • Performance Creative Lead
  • Head of Creative Strategy
  • Growth Creative Operator
What Success Looks Like

Within 3–6 months:

  • You confidently build high-performing DPA templates
  • You understand what makes catalog creative convert
  • You suggest ideas backed by data
  • You can articulate why certain ads win
  • You have measurable revenue impact tied to your work
Who Thrives Here
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Competitive about outcomes
  • Fast learner
  • Ownership-driven
  • Comfortable in startup velocity
  • Energized by feedback loops
  • Wants to build elite creative-performance skills early in career
Why Join Genus AI
  • Work with leading D2C brands
  • Immediate impact on revenue
  • Direct exposure to founders
  • High autonomy
  • Rapid skill acceleration
  • Clear growth path into creative strategy leadership

Compensation:
$50,000 – $65,000 per year depending on experience
Rapid growth potential for high performers

How to Apply

Submit:

  • Resume
  • Portfolio link (required)
  • OR a Figma file showcasing performance-focused paid social work

We are especially interested in work that demonstrates:

  • Structured thinking
  • Conversion-focused design
  • Strong hierarchy
  • Scalable systems thinking

If you want to become elite at performance creative — not just graphic design — we’d love to hear from you.
