Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager, Creative Design, will execute marketing and creative projects across all platforms to support HealthTrust business divisions and various departments while upholding the brand guidelines as defined by HealthTrust Marketing Department. Working closely with the Director of Creative Services and other members of the Creative Services team, this role will design and manage projects from conception to completion under tight deadlines. They will work directly with department heads, our Events team and Strategic Marketing team to define and lead the graphic design and implementation of our go-to-market strategies as well as support our business units with internal and external communications, presentations and events.
The ideal candidate is detailed-oriented, an excellent communicator, thrives under pressure and has a proven track record of developing and executing effective marketing campaigns and presentations in the healthcare field. Candidate must be a highly organized self-starter with excellent time management skills and strong interpersonal skills. It is essential that project management and delivering on deadlines is an established skill.

What you will do in this role:

  • Work directly with department heads and Strategic Marketing team to define and lead the implementation of their go-to-market strategies. (e.g. Brand awareness campaigns, lead generation, advertising campaigns, trade show graphics, presentations/pitch decks, internal and external communications).
  • Design internal and external communications for both digital and print as needed, including web page graphics, illustrations, infographics, presentations, advertisements, sales collateral, social media graphics, event branding & signage, and more.
  • Leverage creative and marketing expertise to develop new creative campaigns for specific products, services or events.
  • Conceptualizes and strategizes materials that achieve departmental and organizational goals. Establishes design standards for core communication assets and design processes. Assists with management of documentation for graphic design guidelines and standards across the organization.
  • Functions as one of our brand managers, developing and maintaining the organizationโ€™s visual brand standards and guidelines. Provides art direction to design and marketing projects with regard to brand. Maintains HealthTrust Performance Group and its affiliate companiesโ€™ brand standards and provides general oversight of brand assets.
  • Maintains relationships and communication with stakeholders; tracks jobs, requirements, progress, timelines and cost saving opportunities. Prepares project work agreements, pitch decks and proposals for internal clients as needed. May serve as point of contact with internal and external print vendors.
  • Top candidates will have experience with video production to plan, shoot and edit video for event coverage, explainer videos and website content.
  • Solid understanding of client deliverables and the ability to take responsibility for them. Establishes milestones and regularly evaluates progress of key objectives, adjusting priorities and resources as needed.
  • Adaptable to new design challenges and organizational shifts in an ever-changing industry with the ability to lead others through change. Creates opportunities for the open sharing of ideas and contributes to a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in delivering creative concepts to stakeholders and clients. Must effectively communicate design decisions to persuade stakeholders while maintaining an openness to receive and apply feedback.
  • Seeks opportunities to build and maintain strategic relationships with business, marketing directors, clients and other team members to advance clinical and business goals

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in graphic design, marketing, communications or other related field - Required
  • 7+ yearsโ€™ experience in graphic design - Required
  • 3 yearsโ€™ experience in project management and supervisory experience - Required
  • Adobe Creative Cloud - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro (Premiere Pro and After Effects a plus) - Required
  • Project management tools (Asana or similar) - Required
  • Graphic design experience in both print and digital including page layout, large format, digital signage, web banners, websites, presentations, etc. - Required
  • Experience developing, maintaining and implementing a cohesive-yet-flexible brand identity system - Required
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a plus - Preferred
  • UX/UI, photography and/or video experience - Preferred
  • Healthcare background, B2B - Preferred
  • Marketing Cloud certification - Preferred
