What You'll Do

  1. Revenue Growth: Execute strategic sales plans to generate annual revenue while cultivating long-term partnerships with new and existing accounts.
  2. Sales Lifecycle Leadership: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial prospecting and lead qualification to final closing and post-sale support.
  3. Market Strategy: Utilize market intelligence and customer insights to develop and implement strategies that advance corporate business objectives.
  4. Client Consultation: Oversee the management of customer accounts, serving as a subject matter expert, advising clients on product applications, technical specifications, pricing, and credit terms.
  5. Negotiation & Closing: Lead high-stakes negotiations to secure favorable terms and finalize major sales contracts, including unpacking bid packages, identifying technical specifications, and fielding clarification questions.
  6. Brand Advocacy: Strengthen company visibility and influence within the engineering community to ensure product preference.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with Project Management, Engineering, and Finance teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
  8. Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports on activity and territory performance to leadership.
  9. Territory Leadership: Drive revenue growth through new business development, strategic account management, and market leadership within an assigned territory while identifying opportunities to expand customer relationships and market penetration.
  10. Mentorship: Serve as a trusted resource and mentor to other Sales Account Managers by sharing best practices, developing sales capabilities, and supporting overall team success.
  11. Territory Strategy & Market Expansion: Partner with sales leadership to develop and execute territory strategies that drive market growth while maintaining ownership of the sales pipeline, leveraging market expertise to achieve sales targets, strengthen customer relationships, and optimize territory performance.
  12. All other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or Sales is strongly preferred (equivalent industry experience will be evaluated).
  • 4+ years high-performance sales experience within the construction or precast industries, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets required.
