Overview

As the Business Affairs Manager you'll be responsible for managing business affairs and talent aspects for various cross-channel shoots and AI productions. You will works closely with Producers and the 360 digital team to ensure all content productions including AI productions are executed and delivered following all set guidelines. 

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Producers, Creative, Account/Project Management, Legal and Finance on production jobs from creative approval to final billing
  • Review creative for potential legal issues, including clearances and licensing of third-party materials
  • Review AI prompts and flag any use of unauthorized IP
  • Ensure all productions, including AI, are completed following set company guidelines and approved vendors
  • Ensure company's AI processes are followed including tracking prompts used
  • Run SAG/AFTRA requirements for Synthetic Performers use, including making any P&H contributions to the Union and talent wages for session and use of AI assets
  • Handle and maintain Rights Managed Asset Tracker including renewal negotiations of Talent and Music as needed.
  • Estimate SAG Talent/Non-Union sessions, use fees for productions and prepare client facing talent estimates for approval
  • Prepare SAG/Non-Union talent contracts for Producers and process contracts after shoot on TTC paymaster platform
  • Review final cuts/materials ensuring licenses, contracts, releases are in place prior to delivery of spots/materials
  • Prepare and file SAG/Non-union final cast/completion reports and process all talent use payments with paymaster and Finance
  • Provide guidance and interpretation of the SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract to Production, Creative and Account/PM Management teams, including on newly published guidelines regarding the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence
  • Work with Vendor Operations Team on on-boarding new vendors into finance system
  • Create and prepare all vendor purchase orders in finance system/ review and approve invoices
  • Prepare and review all vendor contracts for content production alogn with Producers
  • Review vendor bids/routing through APR (Cost Consultant) for approval
  • Prepare client-facing estimates
  • Prepare and declare all Production insurance as needed for shoots
  • Work closely with Creative Operation team on all job closeouts
  • Maintain project folders for all jobs worked on 
  • Generate Ad-Id Codes as needed
Qualifications
  • 5-8 Years Business Affairs Experience at an advertising agency
  • Knowledge of the 2025 SAG/AFTRA MOA including newly publicized rules regarding the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence
  • Experience producing both Union and Non-Union shoots in the US and abroad
  • Experience in processing both Union and Non-Union Talent (Contracts and Payments)
  • Flexible and willing to learn all things required for AI production including producing AI content for a SAG/AFTRA signatory

Compensation Range: $84,000 - $96,000/yr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
