Description:

The EMIC Creative Content Creator is responsible for producing engaging, high-quality content that reflects the heart, mission, and voice of EMIC across all social media platforms. This role works closely with the Social Media Manager and Communications Team to create visual and written content that inspires, informs, and connects with the EMIC community and global audience.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, edit, and publish high-quality video, photo, and graphic content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and X (Twitter).
  • Develop creative concepts and ideas for weekly posts, stories, and campaigns that align with EMICโ€™s vision and current sermon series or ministry initiatives.
  • Capture content during services, events, and behind-the-scenes moments that highlight the life and culture of EMIC.
  • Collaborate with ministry teams to promote events, initiatives, and testimonies through digital storytelling.
  • Write engaging captions, short-form copy, and hashtags optimized for platform engagement.
  • Stay current on social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure EMIC remains relevant and innovative.
  • Assist with social media analytics and performance tracking to help guide future strategies.
  • Maintain brand consistency in tone, visual style, and message across all content.
  • Responsible for facilitating the creative process across multiple demographics of Student Ministries.
  • Responsible for the integration of creative elements from other EMIC areas within Student Ministries demographics.
  • Makes scheduled assessments of the creative output of all demographics within Student Ministries and makes suggestions of how to improve creative and production quality based on assessments.
  • Facilitate the creative process for Student Ministries broadcasts and productions.
  • Edits and animates creative elements for social media and use as service elements.
  • Develops new concepts and fresh segments for social media, service elements or for use during special events.
  • Responsible for archiving all creative content from all departments of EMIC.
  • Mentors students/volunteers in the creative process, cultivating their creative gifts and talents.
  • Participates in Sunday/Wednesday services for areas as directed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • college degree preferred with concentration in media, graphic design or animation

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of editing and animation software
  • Working knowledge of project management tools.
  • Planning and administration skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and engagement strategies
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with photography, videography, and content editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, etc.)
  • Proven creative ability (portfolio required)
  • Ability to multitask and manage numerous projects at once.

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:

  • Computer, copier/print machine, telephone, flip charts, easel and any other equipment common to a standard office setting.
  • Will be required to drive a vehicle from time to time.
  • Camera and editing/animation software

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to sit at a computer for 7 hours a day.
  • Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, telephones and other office equipment.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
  • Must be able to drive a car.

  • Born again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives.
  • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension and division.
  • Must maintain a good attendance record.
  • Must be a member of EMIC, regularly attend church services, and support the leadership of EMIC.
  • Must be a regular tither to EMIC.
  • Must possess a servantโ€™s heart and operate as Armor Bearer.
  • Sensitive to needs of others, which includes a love and commitment to the members and congregation of EMIC and Kenneth Copeland Ministries staff.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to interact with diverse groups of people, considerable skill and diplomacy in communication. Ability to build effective working relationships inside and outside departments or groups.
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative. Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
  • Operates with pre-emptive thinking and must be discerning and able to make good judgment calls with minimum supervision.
