Job Details:
Mercer University Athletics is searching for a Creative Content Coordinator on the Macon, Georgia campus.
Responsibilities:
The Creative Content Coordinator supports the development and execution of creative content across multiple platforms for the Athletics department. This role is responsible for producing and coordinating campaigns, media, and branded content that enhance the visibility and engagement of the athletics program. Working collaboratively with athletics leadership and cross-functional teams, the coordinator ensures that all creative work aligns with established brand standards, departmental goals, and effectively reaches key audiences, including prospective student-athletes, fans, alumni, donors, and the broader community.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in graphic design, communications, marketing, multimedia production, journalism or a related field and some directly related experience in creative content, marketing, promotions, and/or game presentation are required.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's carrier.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Extremely organized, self-starter, intrinsically motivated.
  • Strong organizational, management and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the athletic event schedule.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing creative strategies across platforms.
  • Strong understanding of brand development, storytelling, and audience engagement in a sports context.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Final Cut Pro (or similar) digital media tools, and content management systems.
  • Working knowledge of photography, videography, and post-production workflows.
  • Ability to travel on university business
