Salary:

MARKETING DIRECTOR

Cary, NC | Full-Time | In-Person

There's a Seat at This Table for the Right Person.

We've spent over a decade building one of the most recognized real estate teams in the Triangle. $400M+ in annual production. #1 resale team out of 15,000 realtors. 5,000+ homes sold. $2.5B+ in client assets managed. And we're just getting started.

We're expanding into real estate development, and we're looking for a senior marketing professional who wants to grow with something that's already winning and help shape what comes next.

This isn't a role where you manage a content calendar and call it a day. It's a role where your work is visible, your impact is measurable, and your growth is real. We invest in the people who invest in us.

This is not a corporate marketing department. This is a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment where ideas become reality quickly, accountability matters, and high performers thrive.

If you're ready to do the best work of your career, keep reading.

Quick Facts

  • Full-Time, In-Person Position
  • Cary, NC
  • Reports Directly to CEO Tina Caul
  • Manages Videographer & Marketing VAs
  • Real Estate & Development Marketing
  • SEO, AEO, AI & Digital Marketing
  • Salary Based on Experience
  • Growth-Oriented Leadership Team

Who We Are

Caul Group is built on a simple belief: high standards and genuine care aren't opposites. We hold both, for our clients, for our agents, and for the people on our team.

We don't measure marketing success in impressions. We measure it in results. Leads generated. Agents supported. Listings that move. Brands that people remember. If you've spent your career building marketing that actually performs and you have the track record to prove it, you'll feel at home here.

We're a team that works hard, takes care of each other, and celebrates wins together. The culture here is real. The opportunity is real. And the person who steps into this role will have the resources, the support, and the runway to do something they're proud of.

What You'll Own

You'll be the person who takes vision and shapes it. You'll work directly with the CEO in weekly planning sessions, capturing her ideas, building the system around them, and making sure every piece executes across every channel.

Your ownership includes:

Strategic Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Weekly marketing planning with the CEO, translating vision into deployable campaigns and holding execution week over week
  • Building and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and business growth
  • Measuring campaign performance and making data-driven improvements

Listing Marketing

Every property we take to market gets a marketing package that reflects the price point and the brand we've spent a decade building.

Agent Enablement & Personal Branding

Teaching our agents how to market themselves, helping them build personal brands that attract clients, and making sure they have the marketing tools and support they need to compete in today's market.

Brand, Content & Digital Marketing

Team brand and content across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, email marketing, social media marketing, content strategy initiatives, and digital campaigns that reflect who we are: knowledgeable, direct, and genuinely invested in this community.

Creative Team Leadership

  • Managing our on-staff videographer and directing creative production for listings, team content, and brand campaigns
  • Managing our marketing VAs, delegating clearly, holding cadence, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks

Client Retention & Community Marketing

Past client events, retention campaigns, referral marketing, and community engagement that strengthens relationships and generates long-term business.

SEO, AEO & AI Search Visibility

Managing and growing our website's search presence across traditional SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), including visibility in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and emerging AI search platforms.

You don't need to be the technical builder. You need to understand how it works and be resourceful enough to find the right help when you need it.

Development Marketing

Marketing for our new development division, helping build something from the ground up alongside the team launching it.

AI & Automation

Using current AI tools, automation platforms, and emerging technology to scale output and improve marketing effectiveness.

Who You Are

You have 7-10+ years of senior marketing experience and a track record of real ROInot just beautiful work, but work that produced results. Leads generated. Revenue attributed. Brands built that people actually remember.

Experience in real estate, luxury brands, home services, development, or other high-touch service industries is strongly preferred.

You're technically fluent. Canva is second nature. You're comfortable in a CRM (we use Follow Up Boss). You've incorporated AI tools into your workflow and stay current on what's moving in the industry. You learn new software quickly because you're resourceful.

You can write. Whether it's a listing description, email campaign, social caption, campaign brief, or brand messaging piece, you understand copy and what makes it land with a real audience. Copywriting and campaign-building experience are major advantages.

You can manage people with clarity and care. You'll have a videographer and a VA on your team. You delegate well, hold the standard, and make sure projects ship without micromanaging.

You're a builder, not just a manager. You don't wait for perfect conditions to start. You create the system, run the play, and improve as you go.

You understand that your role is to make the CEO's vision landnot replace it with your own. You get energy from executing brilliantly on a shared direction rather than constantly generating new ones.

And you want somewhere to grow. A place where your work matters, your contribution is seen, and the ceiling moves up as you do.

Must-Haves

  • 7+ years of marketing experience
  • Proven track record of campaign execution and measurable ROI
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills
  • Experience managing people, vendors, or creative teams
  • Canva proficiency
  • CRM experience (Follow Up Boss is a plus)
  • Familiarity with AI tools and marketing automation
  • Experience with content strategy and social media marketing
  • Highly organized with exceptional project management skills
  • Ability to work in-person in Cary, NC

What We Offer

  • Laptop and software provided
  • Annual professional development budget
  • Growth opportunities as the company expands into new divisions and ventures
