What are CRCs (Clinical Research Coordinators)?

Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) are professionals who oversee and manage clinical trials and research studies conducted in medical settings. They are responsible for coordinating daily activities, ensuring compliance with protocols, recruiting and enrolling participants, and maintaining accurate records. CRCs work closely with principal investigators, sponsors, and regulatory bodies to ensure that studies are conducted ethically and efficiently. Their role is crucial in advancing medical knowledge and patient care through research.

How does a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) typically collaborate with investigators and study sponsors during a clinical trial?
