Crafty Beaver , a Nation’s Best Holdings, LLC company, is seeking candidates for our

Floor Supervisor position at our Chicago, IL location on Lawrence.

What You Will Do and How You Will Contribute:
  • Support daily store operations by supervising assigned departments or areas of the floor, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with company policies
  • Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and reinforcing service standards with team members
  • Supervise, direct, and support associates during shifts, including task delegation, break coverage, and workflow coordination
  • Assist with training new hires and provide ongoing coaching to reinforce job expectations, safety practices, and customer service skills
  • Oversee merchandising and inventory activities within assigned areas, including restocking, facing, and maintaining product presentation
  • Monitor inventory levels in assigned departments and communicate replenishment or discrepancies to management
  • Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures, including conducting visual safety checks and addressing hazards promptly
  • Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints at the floor level, escalating issues to management as appropriate
  • Support sales initiatives and promotions by ensuring proper execution on the sales floor
  • Assist with maintaining store standards related to cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance
  • Document operational issues, customer feedback, or employee concerns and report them to store leadership
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations and business needs

What You Will Bring to Our Team:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional education in retail, business, or leadership is a plus
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment, with some supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle issues professionally and calmly
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic proficiency with POS systems and common business software
  • Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a physical environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow procedures and maintain quality standards
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn and grow within the organization
