Crafts are activities that involve making things by hand, often using traditional skills and a variety of materials such as wood, fabric, paper, clay, or metal. People who work in crafts are known as artisans or crafters, and they create both decorative and functional items. Common types of crafts include pottery, knitting, woodworking, jewelry making, and sewing.
