In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Maintaining open communication with supervisors, direct care staff, and family members to discuss patient progress and adjustments to treatment plans.
• Coordinating scheduling for appointments, home visits, and ongoing assessments to ensure continuous support and care for clients in need.
• Implementing treatment plans effectively, monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Documenting client interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes with precision and care to maintain accurate records.
• Engaging actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute insights and strategies for improving patient outcomes.
• Providing training and guidance to staff members to ensure they are well-versed in implementing program plans and proper documentation practices.
• Acting as a liaison between clients and the wider mental health community to foster connections and support programs aimed at development goals.
• Conducting follow-up visits as needed to ensure that ongoing support meets the evolving needs of clients.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating a strong commitment to mental health care.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an aptitude for building rapport with varied clientele.
• A solid foundation in legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices.

While not mandatory, candidates with expertise or specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment will be highly regarded. Familiarity and proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and related technologies are preferred to streamline documentation and improve service delivery.
