Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to conduct CPSE evaluations for preschool-aged children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a strong understanding of motor development, pediatric conditions such as developmental delays, and school-based eligibility criteria. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about early childhood development and looking for flexible, evaluation-based work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct physical therapy evaluations for children ages 3–5 referred through the CPSE.
  • Administer standardized assessments (e.g., PDMS-2, BOT-2) and informal measures as appropriate.
  • Observe and document motor function, balance, posture, mobility, and overall physical development.
  • Prepare comprehensive written evaluation reports with clear clinical impressions and recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in New York State.
  • Pediatric experience required; experience with CPSE evaluations strongly preferred.
