Job description

AGS Protect is looking for an experienced Post Commander that has the drive and determination to succeed in this role at a commercial business building complex in Hollywood CA.

You will provide the vision and leadership for a team of Patrol Officers. This will include overseeing the refinement and implementation of policies and procedures in an ever-changing landscape. In addition to the daily oversight of a commercial complex with world recognized businesses and tenants.

A strong focus on customer service and sociability is a must, as the Post Commander is required to maintain strong community relationships with local, state, and regional services like LAPD & LAFD as well as the Business Improvement District to share and coordinate information activities.

Salary and benefits package includes:

  • Hourly Rate - $22.00/hr

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage options available

What to Expect:

  • Continuous communication with client and AGS Protect management as to operations and needs of the client?s security operations.

  • Review and update security policies and procedures.

  • Training of security personnel to the protocols of the client.

  • Review of all records to include but not limited to training, licensing, incidents, and scheduling of security services.

  • Provide the client and AGS Protect management with regular reports of security operations to include analytics of incidents, tours, training, meetings with civil departments such as LAPD, LAFD, Building & Safety, etc...

  • Meeting with client?s patrons as directed by client management.

  • Meet with LAPD Senior Lead Officer & Business Improvement District to discuss the needs of client as well as continuous updates of the surrounding area. Utilize data from Crime statistics and our internal MPost system to evaluate the security needs for client.

  • Work with AGS and our client to update and develop best practices and Standard Operating Procedures

  • Manage incidents ensuring swift resolution, minimal disruption and identifying lessons to continually improve response of the security team.

  • Work with the management to develop and maintain a safety/security awareness.

  • Other duties as assigned by the AGS Protect and client management.

What We?re Looking For:

  • 4-5 years? experience in Security management including retail properties.

  • Preferred College Degree (BA) in related field or certification of PSP and/or CPP

  • Experience in Leading people

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication

  • Current CA Guard Card
